PNG, JPG, and WebP up to 5MB. Clean, legible diagrams convert most accurately. Messy handwriting, low contrast, or very dense labels may need small corrections — you can fix them in the editor or with the built-in AI fix, and the result auto-repairs once if it doesn't render.

Is my image private?

The editor, preview, and image export run locally in your browser. The one exception is image-to-Mermaid: an image you upload for conversion is sent to our AI provider so it can read the diagram. It is not used to train models. Don't upload images containing secrets.
